Call for Sites 2025
Overview
The Call for Sites is open to all but we particularly welcome sites from local organisations, businesses as well as landowners and developers to tell us about sites that they know in Slough that could support the Slough Local Plan 2025-2045.
Sites and proposals received from this exercise will inform a Strategic Housing and Employment Land Availability Assessment to help identify (or allocate) sites that are suitable, available, and achievable for housing and other uses, for the new Local Plan. A draft of the Local Plan will be subject to public consultation in the future.
Sites submitted are not automatically marked for development, nor do they gain any special status. They will be assessed taking account of Government policy and guidance, statutory requirements and protections for land, physical constraints (such as flood risk, major utilities), current local planning policy plus other material considerations.
Why your views matter
The information gathered from the 'call for sites' will help the planning team produce the Council's new Local Plan 2025-2045, which will be used to assess planning applications and drive regeneration in Slough.
The Local plan will set out policies that guide development, including to provide the houses we need, support employment , protect our parks and natural places.
