Overview

We consult residents, commuters, businesses and stakeholders to understand what people think about proposed developments, changes to our roads and pavements, or other traffic-related issues.

Why your views matter

Slough Borough Council is writing to consult with residents about the proposed introduction of a one-way on Oakley Crescent.

The Council received requests from the ward councillors and residents to address their concerns about rat running and speeding caused by commuters exiting Stoke Poges Lane and travelling towards Baylis Road.  In order to address these concerns, the Council is proposing to introduce a one-way on the length of Oakley Crescent in a northbound and eastbound direction. Road signage and road markings to inform commuters about the direction of the one-way will be introduced as part of the one-way street works.

To assist you in understanding the scheme there is a plan below.

We would like to hear your views on the proposal and invite you to complete the online survey below by 1 March 2021.

If you have any questions about the scheme, please contact the Major Infrastructure Projects Team by email: tfs@slough.gov.uk .
