SBC Corporate Plan Consultation
Overview
Slough Borough Council is consulting on its Corporate Plan - a key strategy document that sets out the vision for the council and what we hope to deliver in the borough.
The plan sets out SBC's:
- Purpose - our key mission statement and driving focus for the council
- Approach - the type of council we wish to be, our values, how we will work and our relationship with residents
- Priorities - the key challenges we will look to address over the next four years
Why your views matter
We are now seeking views on the draft Corporate Plan.
We would like you to tell us:
- If you think that we have got the vision right
- If the approach we have for set out for the council is the right one
- Whether you agree with the key priorities that we have identified
Your feedback on this consultation is very important to us, and the council has committed to engaging residents, businesses, partners and other key stakeholders in its decision-making process.
All consultation feedback will be analysed and considered and will help the council make a final decision on the Corporate Plan, which is due to be considered for adopting in September 2023.

Data Protection Statement
This consultation questionnaire and the information we collect will be used for the purposes of evidence-based decision making on Slough Borough Council’s future focus, approach and priorities. We are committed to the principles of the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK General Data Protection Regulations and by continuing to complete this consultation questionnaire you are consenting to us processing this data.
This will be used to make decisions in a public forum and the results will be published online and anonymous data may be accessed by third parties to validate the results of the consultation.
We will only retain the data collected for as long as is necessary and, after the period determined by our Data Protection Officer, this data will be destroyed in accordance with our IT and Information Security Procedures.

What happens next
All consultation feedback will be analysed and considered and will help the Council make a final decision on the Corporate Plan, which is due to be considered for adopting in September 2023.
For the Council to achieve and deliver its vision we will need to continue to have an open dialogue with you and stay connected with you well past the closing date of this consultation exercise.
